Une herbe de la famille des marguerites qui ne cesse de croître d'année en année. Il a des tiges souterraines rampantes. Les feuilles sont en forme de cœur. Ils ont des dents sur le pourtour et de légers lobes. Les feuilles ont des poils blancs doux en dessous. Il y a une seule feuille sur chaque tige provenant du rhizome. Les fleurs sont blanc jaunâtre ou rouges et en épis ouverts. Les fleurs apparaissent avant que les feuilles ne se développent. Il y a 5 à 7 têtes fleuries au sommet de la tige{{{0(+x) (traduction automatique).
