Un grand arbre. Il atteint 40 m de haut. Le coffre peut mesurer 2,1 m de diamètre. Il repose ou grimpe sur d'autres arbres. Il peut avoir des contreforts atteignant 3 m de haut. Les feuilles sont presque opposées et en forme d'épée. Ils sont poilus lorsqu'ils sont jeunes. Les fleurs sont en épis à l'aisselle des feuilles et près des extrémités des branches. Le fruit est oblong et charnu avec 5 crêtes{{{0(+x) (traduction automatique).
Original : A large tree. It grows 40 m tall. The trunk can be 2.1 m across. It rests on or climbs other trees. It can have buttresses up to 3 m tall. The leaves are almost opposite and sword shaped.
