Une grande herbe qui ne cesse de croître d'année en année. Il atteint 3 m de haut. Il est très robuste et a une odeur piquante. Les tiges sont robustes et creuses. Les feuilles sont divisées 3-4 fois. Ils ont de nombreux fils vert clair comme des lobes. Ceux-ci enveloppent la base. Les feuilles supérieures ont des lames plus petites et des gaines plus grandes. Les ombelles des fleurs sont grandes et arrondies. Ils sont jaune-vert vif. Les fruits sont étroitement ovales et aplatis. Ils mesurent 12 à 15 mm de long.
