        :

        Un arbuste à feuilles caduques qui ne cesse de croître d'année en année. Il pousse de 1,2 à 6 m de haut. Les feuilles ont 3 folioles. Les feuilles sont triangulaires et longues de 12 cm. Les tiges des feuilles ont des piquants. Les fleurs sont rouge vif. Le standard de la fleur peut mesurer 5 cm de long. Les grappes de fleurs mesurent 60 cm de long.
