        Une plante de la famille des citrouilles. C'est une plante rampante à longues tiges rampantes et légèrement poilues mais sans poils épineux. La tige est arrondie ou à 5 angles et moyennement dure. Ils peuvent mesurer de 15 à 20 m de long. Les feuilles sont grandes et peu profondes et divisées comme des doigts sur une main. Parfois, les feuilles ont des taches blanches. Ils ont des lobes arrondis. Ils mesurent 20 cm sur 30 cm. La tige des feuilles mesure 12 à 30 cm de long. Les fleurs ont des fleurs mâles et femelles séparément sur la même plante. La tige du fruit y est nettement élargie et rejoint le fruit. Les fruits ne sont pas à coque dure et sont de couleur terne. La chair est jaune. Souvent, la chair a des fibres à travers elle. Les graines sont dodues et blanches à brunes. Ils se séparent facilement de la pulpe du fruit. Le bord de la graine est festonné et de contour irrégulier. Il existe un grand nombre de variétés cultivées{{{0(+x) (traduction automatique).
